    From the Manager:

    Lee Martinez

Each month we receive information from our programmers and try to keep up with what is happening in their ministries. We are in this together and like to pray for them in an effective manner. Some of them share requests from their mission fields. In a current issue of prayer requests is an appeal from an Asian villager whose deformity has made them an “outcast “. Think about it. Their whole world is very small and now unfriendly, possibly even dangerous. There is no concern for their emotions or their well-being. If this were you think of how you would feel and how you would survive. But in this appeal for prayer were these words, . .”but now, Jesus is my Savior”. When I read this I sensed the hope that is now a part of this new Christian’s life. It was like a banner across their life! When Jesus comes hope is restored and tears are wiped away. A miracle happens in the heart and soul and may even extend to the physical world. Anyway he has taken the first step Jesus is there!

What happens when God acts in our behalf? I hope you know what you can expect when God walks in. When He takes the steps you hoped He would and rescues you. We all have situations that show we are helpless. Hurricanes and health issues are good reminders. For our own good we should all remember how close we are to a helpless state and how much closer God can be to helping us. Jesus said, “without me you can do nothing”. That comment brings more than comfort it also has a commitment from our Lord that when things are rough, and they will be, your Lord is the only one who can share your grief and stop the storm. He is telling us that it is all right to run to Him at any time but especially when we need a hiding place. When you are in Jesus’ hands, “no man (and nothing) can pluck you out” John 10:28.

I hope I am only telling you what you already know from experience. We all need reminders now and then and I feel that is another aspect of why God has given WCIF to the community, to teach and then remind us of the tender mercies of the Lord. You know people around you whose lives would change if they knew what you know about God’s love. We are here to help them learn. Guide them to this spot – WCIF – and let God’s Word reach into their hearts. What more could you give them than a clear look at the Gospel and a means of making a decision that is life changing?

See what happens as God takes charge:

    Favorite Songs

Thank you for sharing your favorite songs with us!

It is nice to know our Lord has given us a special way to express our heart-felt praises and our trust in Him.

Whether we can sing on key or not, at least we can feel God touching our hearts when we hear some of our favorite music. I hope you hear your favorites frequently enough as you listen to WCIF. I hope you feel led to sing along knowing there are probably many others singing the same praises at the same time. I often think about how many are listening to a song and raising their voices in praise. Just think some day we will all get together and sing before Him. Can you imagine what that will sound like and how you will feel in that great choir?

We had over 170 different favorite songs registered. Here’s the top ten:

    1. How Great Thou Art
    2. Amazing Grace
    3. I Can Only Imagine
    4. Days of Elijah
    5. The Old Rugged Cross
    6. Above All
    7. How Great Is Our God
    8. It Is Well With My Soul
    9. Because He Lives
    10. Go Light Your World

Micco – What a joy to be able to tune into good solid Christian broadcasting 24 hours a day. God has truly blessed me through you and when the programming is not available, which is seldom, I miss it beyond belief. Enclosed is a check to help defray expenses. Keep up the good work.

Satellite Beach –Once again we draw a blank in expressing how very much W.C.I.F. means to us each and every day. About a year ago we briefly considered moving to Jacksonville. When listing the pros and cons of the move, the loss of W.C.I.F. was at the very top of the list for not moving! We do appreciate each of you so very much, and pray God’s blessings on you.

MelbournePlease use this where it is needed the most. May God keep blessing W.C.I.F. as it is blessing others. Thank you for putting Jesus first.

Palm Bay – Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ and praise the Lord the radio station. It keeps me every day and I tell people about my radio station and they put it on, they love it. Here is my gift. I thank God for all of you.
